From 4 to 7 June 2019, ACFA participated in the Air Cargo Europe in Munich (Germany). This international forum was an opportunity for our association to present to the world its activities and its vision of air freight in France. The latter was a real success for ACFA, because in only 3 days, we met dozens of companies and conducted several interviews for major media of the cargo business (Cargo Cast, Cargo Fowarder Global, Flying typers…). In addition to meeting with a number of internationally renowned companies, an informal meeting was organised with our German (Frankfurt), Belgian (Brussels) and Dutch counterparts to discuss about our respective visions of air freight, our current work and possibilities for cooperation.
The Air Cargo France Association organized on Wednesday 16th of January, at the House of Environment and Sustainable Development, its first “Fresh Forum”, dedicated to the logistics and transportation for perishable products.
Elisabeth Hérelier, chairman of the ACFA, inaugurated this day by an opening speech in front of the air cargo actors from all over the world.
Under the theme: “Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the best choice for the process of the perishable products”, this day represented an opportunity for the Cargo community operating on Roissy, to reaffirm its commitment to the “Fresh business” thanks to a better collaboration of all of the actors of the supply chain in order to get better cold chain control.
The other topics have included the digitization and the need of data sharing between the actors of cargo.
As the largest international trade show in the air cargo sector, some 300 exhibitors from around the world will be taking part in this year’s ACF. The exhibition is dedicated to innovation and seeks to identify new air-cargo opportunities on an international scale.Visit the website
